Fund Raising Auction & Gala Dinner

Each year we host a fund raising Auction and Gala Dinner to benefit our nonprofit K. of P. Rotary Charitable Foundation. For hte past two years we held our club’s gala at Sullivan's Steakhouse in King of Prussia as our principal charitable benefactor. This event has been a resounding success and we are in the process of develping plans for suture events.
Since its founding in 1956, the K of P Rotary has conducted its programs in the spirit of Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” This has been Rotary's official motto throughout its one hundred years of existence and characterizes who and what we are
We sincerely appreciate the commitment and support from you, our Friends in Rotary, to help us reach our Foundation's annual giving goal. Examples of our beneficiaries which your donations help are listed below.
Once again, we’re counting on your tax deductible gift to help us continue these programs for this Rotary year and beyond. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds go to community, national and international programs.
The local community and guests participate by donating an auction item or service and by purchasing gifts at the silent and live auctions.
Tax deductible gifts (the Foundation is registered as a 501.c.3 charitable corporation) are used to fund charitable projects.
Contributions are acknowledged in the program and during the evening of the event. In addition, your name is prominently displayed throughout the evening with your item of contribution.

In 2007, The Fall Auction raised about $24,000, allowing our Foundation to distribute charitable humanitarian and educational grants for roughly the same amount. At our next event we hope to equal or exceed this amount.
How you can help.
1. We need many auctionable items !
When at a store, restaurant or hotel, ask for a tax-deductible gift certificate.
When buying a trip or a vacation, ask for a getaway weekend donation.
When traveling, buy novelty items as your personal or company donations.
If you or a friend own a vacation home, we could auction a week or weekend.
Just about anything cold be of interest: sport tickets and memorabilia, liquor, holiday food items, jewelry, tools, beauty, entertainment, artwork...
2. We need people to attend the auction and dinner gala !
Buy a table for your company, family or circle of friends.
Buy and sell raffle tickets (available after the Summer).
Sell tickets to vendors, suppliers, clients, etc.
3. We need people to help planning, soliciting, decorating, managing...!
