CLUB COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Soccer Field: The King of Prussia Rotary Club was a major financial contributor toward the soccer field activity center and field renovations at the Henderson Road Soccer field. The new soccer complex includes bike paths, three soccer fields, night lighting and a concession stand/activity center. The club has held fellowship meetings at the site.
Paul Harris Monument in Valley Forge Park: In 1977, Rotary International planted a mile long grove of trees in Valley Forge Park along the border of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in memory of the patriots who survived the bitter winter of 1777-78 and became an army which went on to found our nation. At the half-way point, a monument was dedicated commemorating the bicentennial and the memory of Paul Harris, founder of Rotary. For twenty-two years the grove and monument were lost and neglected. It was rediscovered by a member of the King of Prussia Club. With the help of Rotarians from several district 7450 clubs, the monument and grove were reclaimed rededicated in September 1998. Rotarians from King of Prussia and the district pledged to keep the Grove and Paul Harris monument from future neglect. (Photo top left)

Christmas Caroling: Bring hope and happiness during the Holiday season to members of our local nursing homes by participating in a caroling night.
Community Day: The King of Prussia Rotary Club heightens awareness of its presence in the community by taking part in the annual Community Day sponsored by Upper Merion Township’s Park and Recreation. This day allows us to promote Rotary activities and interact with the community.
